The second set of portraits from Florida. I couldn't dream of leaving that last image out. Toby's always making a stinker face. He's such an animated kid! Sometimes it's hard to believe he won't be 4 forever.

Somehow we forgot to share to share little Maddox's portraits! This kid was an absolute ball of energy and he was so fun to be around. He had just learned how to run and while he knew how to hit the gas, he wasn't quite as skilled in hitting the brakes. He'd run, run, run until he toppled over on that curly hair of his. He was such a good sport and his mom kept him occupied for the whole shoot. We can't get over his little cuffed Levis and his snazzy shoes.

The Johnson family is basically a picture perfect family. Their happiness and love truly permeated the entire photoshoot we shared with them. Kelli and I (Kaelah) go way back when we used to work together in the mall my freshmen year of college. We'd spend our days dancing and singing along to Teagan and Sara, Scissor Sisters, and the like. Her personality hasn't changed one bit and if anything, having a husband and little dude of her own just made her that much sweeter. Matthew was a super attentive dad and little Luka with his two teeth just kill me. He was one of the happiest and least-fussy children we've ever had the privilege to photograph. We love happy babies!

The Wallaces sure are a cute newlywed pair. Kerstan and Emily are long-distance friends of ours and we really love being able to see them and share a meal when they're passing through Nashville on their way to see family. Emily contacted me and told me they'd be coming through for the holidays and would love to take advantage of our November special. We met up with them early one Sunday morning on the west side of town before they were back on the road. Boy oh boy, it was so cold! Everything was covered in a blanket of frost and we all fought to feel our fingers and toes. They were such troopers though! We're so happy with the dewy look and light from the 6am sun. And look at that Hans! Isn't he just too much?!
